Shapes of Home

My solo exhibition titled Shapes of Home exhibited at The Suttie Arts Space, situated in the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI), from 8 March to 24 May 2025. The project was part of Grampian Hospitals Art Trust (GHAT)’s 10th-anniversary program. The Artist Brief was developed with the pupils of the local Cornhill Primary School, where more than 20 languages are spoken, exploring the question “What does home mean to you?”. The exhibition was co-curated by Naoko Mabon and P6 pupils of Cornhill Primary.

For the exhibition, I explored text and image, focusing on Nepali vocabulary and images form my childhood in Kathmandu, with the medium of visual poetry as a core part of the exhibition.
